ESTA Briefing (EN) on enforcement of ERRU policy rule/ april 2021

ERRU is a European digital network of interconnected national registers containing all licence holders and transport managers. The ERRU operates as a company “rating” register and includes a penalty points system.

Under the new system, every violation of road transport law will attract a number of penalty points. If a company exceeds its points limit – set according to the size of the company – it risks having its licence suspended or revoked. In addition, the legislation also applies to individual transport managers.
