Blanca Claeyssens, founder of ASA France, has been appointed to the ESTA Board. She was elected unanimously by ESTA’s General Assembly in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, last month.
She has built her career around safety, drawing on experience in aviation, transport, and heavy lifting. She started out as an airline captain before moving into management and later founding ASA France, where she helps organizations benefit from aviation’s proven safety practices.
Passionate about sharing knowledge and driving cultural change, Claeyssens is an active member of ESTA’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Commission which works to strengthen safety culture, encourage prevention, and support risk management in the heavy lifting and transport sector.
Her appointment means that the ESTA Board now has its full complement of twelve members.
