ESTA has been invited to speak on reducing risks in heavy transport and lifting at a special meeting to be held during the 10th edition of GIS – the lifting, industrial, port handling and heavy transport exhibition – in Piacenza in Italy later this month.
Organised with the support of ESTA’s Italian association member ANNA, the presentation will be given jointly by ESTA President Fabio Belli and Director Ton Klijn.
They will focus on two core subjects:
- Explanation and discussion of ESTA’s recently published Lifting Operations Risk Management (LORM) best practice guide and
- Current work to develop a European Transport Operators Licence (ETOL) for Modular Hydraulically Suspended Trailers – such as SPMTs – which is taking shape.
GIS takes place from September 25-27. Belli and Klijn will be speaking on Friday, September 26 from 1500-1700.
