Italian heavy transport and lifting contractor Fagioli – the winner of the safety category in the 2023 ESTA Awards – has donated a 5,600 euro safety bonus to the Dutch marine search and rescue organisation KNRM.
Fagioli earned the bonus from client Saipem for its logistics and prefabrication support work in the Dutch port of Vlissingen for the Calvados offshore wind farm off the Normandy Coast in France.
KNRM is a Dutch charity mostly run by volunteers whose main purpose is protecting and rescuing those who get into trouble while at sea.
Moreno Massetti, Fagioli’s EMEA Head of Operations, said: “We were pleased to receive the bonus in recognition of our safety performance and delighted to pass that on to KNRM to support their excellent work.”
