ESTA Transport Section President Iffet Türken has been honoured with an award by the board of directors of ESTA’s Turkish member association YMB for her contribution to international cooperation and support for the heavy lift and load engineering industry.
At YMB’s recent board meeting in Istanbul, she was presented with a plaque by Ahmed Altunkum, YMB Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Hareket Heavy Lifting and Project Transportation.
Iffet Türken also leads the work of ESTA’s HSE Commission as it campaigns for the harmonization of European HSE regulations and systems.
