European transport workers and transport service providers should be exempted from COVID19 testing and quarantine obligations following a European Council decision on Monday, February 1 aimed at minimising disruption to trade. The news is contained in a new Council recommendation and amendments to (EU) 2020/1475 on a “coordinated approach to the restriction of free movement in response to the COVID-19 pandemic”.
